InsideLifeBusiness space terms
These terms apply when you rent a business space in InsideLife: a shop, an office floor or a whole premises. They add to our terms of service and privacy policy. "We" means Cleset, the company that makes InsideLife.
1. Who can rent
You must be 18 or older, run a real, lawful business, and have the authority to act for it. The details you give us (name, contact details, address and, if you have one, your CAC number) must be true and kept up to date.
2. What you rent
- You rent the right to use one space in the game for a number of whole months, up to 12 months at a time and starting up to 6 months ahead. The price is shown before you pay; prime locations cost more.
- Once your rent is paid and our staff have approved your profile, your business appears in every player's phone directory and as a pin on the map at your space.
- The space exists only in the game. Renting it gives you no rights over any real property.
3. Your profile and content
- Our staff review your profile, photos and sign before they go live, and again when you change them. We may reject or remove anything that breaks these terms or the law.
- Your content must be true and not misleading, and you must have the right to use it.
- The same banned categories apply as for adverts (see the advertiser terms).
- You give us a licence to show your content in the game, in the directory and on the map for as long as you rent the space.
4. Selling to players
Any sale of real goods or services to a player happens between you and that player, outside the game's money. You are responsible for your products, prices, delivery, refunds and for following Nigerian consumer law. Game money cannot be used to pay you.
5. Payment, renewal and refunds
- You pay in naira by card through a licensed payment provider. We never see your full card details.
- A space is held for you for a short time while you pay; if payment does not complete, the hold ends.
- If we do not approve your profile and you cannot fix it, we refund your rent in full.
- You can cancel before your rental starts for a full refund, less any fee the payment provider keeps. Months already started are not refunded.
- If we take your listing down because it breaks these terms, we do not refund it.
- We will remind you before your rental ends. A rental does not renew unless you pay again.
6. Changes to the city
We keep improving the map. If a change means your space can no longer be used, we will offer you a similar space or refund the unused whole months.
7. Responsibility
A listing in InsideLife does not mean we endorse your business. You are responsible for your business and your content, and you agree to cover our reasonable costs from any claim that your content breaks the law or someone else's rights. As far as the law allows, our responsibility to you is limited to the rent you paid for the space concerned.
